Put a working UK calculator on your own site

One line of HTML. Free, no sign-up, no contract — and it tracks none of your visitors, because there is nothing in it that could.

If you are an accountant, a mortgage or protection adviser, a payroll bureau, an employer writing a benefits page, a union, a careers service or a school, you have probably wanted a take-home pay or stamp duty calculator on a page and found that the free ones come with advertising, a sign-up, or a script that follows your readers around the internet.

These do not. Every calculator below is the same one that runs on Palarid's own public pages, computed in the reader's browser, with the figures listed in our public verification log.

What it costs, and what we ask

What it does to your visitors: nothing

The widget sets no cookie, writes no storage and carries no identifier. Once it has loaded, it sends no further request to us. There is no analytics in it and nothing to consent to, so embedding one does not add a line to your own cookie banner or privacy policy. The reader's figures are computed in their browser and stay there.

The one message it sends is to your page, not to us: if you turn on auto-resize, the frame tells your page how tall it needs to be. You can ignore it.

Why these numbers can be trusted

The UK tax calculations run through one shared, tested engine. The tax year, thresholds and bands are dated on each page, re-checked every April, and a build check refuses to publish a page whose tax-year label has gone stale. The expected-versus-computed results are published in the verification log — which is unusual enough that it is worth saying plainly: we publish our test results because most calculator sites do not.

Questions

Can I restyle it?

The widget follows your reader's light or dark preference automatically. Beyond that it is an iframe, so your CSS cannot reach inside it — which is also what stops it breaking your layout. If you need it to match a brand palette, tell us: that is the first thing we would build if enough people ask.

Will it slow my page down?

Use loading="lazy", which the snippet includes: the frame is not fetched until a reader scrolls near it. The page inside is a single small HTML file with no framework.

What if Palarid disappears?

A fair question to ask of anything you put on your own site. The honest answer: it is a small independent project, so use the widget where a blank space would be an inconvenience rather than a disaster, and link to the full page as well.

Can I have one that is not on the list?

Probably. Ask — if it is a UK calculation with a real answer, building it is a day's work and it becomes free for everyone.
