Accessibility statement

This statement covers palarid.com. We want Palarid to be usable by as many people as possible, and this page says plainly where it currently succeeds and where it does not. Every claim below comes from a check that was run on this release; the check is named beside it.
Known failures remain (listed below), and Palarid has not been audited independently. Listing them is more useful than a conformance badge we cannot stand behind.
What works
- Contrast. Text in all 134 tools meets AA contrast (4.5:1, or 3:1 for large text) in both the light and dark themes. Automated measurement of every visible line in every tool.
- Printing. Pages print black on white without the app's navigation or floating buttons. The same measurement run under print media: no failures in any tool.
- Keyboard. Every control in every tool is a real button, link or field, or a tile that can be reached with Tab and pressed with Enter or Space. Every interactive control has a visible focus outline, and a "skip to content" link comes first. Automated per-tool check: no clickable elements that the keyboard cannot reach.
- Where you are. The main navigation marks the space holding the open tool as current, and the page has banner, navigation, main and footer landmarks.
- Labels. Every visible form field and every button in every tool has an accessible name, and no tool skips heading levels. Automated per-tool check.
- Results in 134 tools are announced to screen readers when they appear — calculator answers, AI responses, error messages, and in trackers the change to the list ("Added: …", "Removed: … · 3 entries") — through one shared status region, once the change has settled, never mid-typing. Automated per-tool check, and a browser test that adds and removes entries and reads what would be spoken.
- Animation is reduced when your system asks for reduced motion; touch targets are at least 44px on phones and tablets; the app follows your light or dark preference.
- Text resized to 200% kept its content when checked by hand in July 2026. That check has not been repeated since.
Known failures, being worked on
- Some charts have no text alternative. Several trackers draw their history as coloured bars with the figures only in tooltips.
- No independent audit. Everything above is self-assessed, by automated checks and by hand.

By self-assessment: automated checks across all tool panes, plus manual keyboard and zoom testing. It has not been independently audited. Where a figure above is a count, it came from inspecting the rendered application rather than from an estimate.
