Most privacy pages explain how to submit a request and how long you'll wait. Palarid mostly doesn't need one: your data is already on your device, in your hands, right now. There is no copy on our servers to request, correct or delete — so for almost every right below, you exercise it yourself, immediately, without asking anyone.
For the small amount of technical data described in the Privacy Policy — principally the IP address and browser type our host records — Palarid is the data controller.
For everything you create inside the app, you are the controller and the only holder. We have no access to it and could not produce it if a court asked us to.

Palarid is a small independent UK project, not a registered company. If that changes, the registered name and number will appear here.
To know what is collected and why, before it happens. That is what the Privacy Policy and Cookies pages are for. Where an earlier version of those pages was inaccurate, we have corrected it visibly rather than quietly.
Normally you would ask a company for a copy of what they hold. Here, everything is already on your device. Use Export in the app to produce a JSON copy of it. We hold nothing to send you.
Edit anything directly in the tool that created it. No request, no waiting.
Delete individual items in the app, or remove everything through your browser's site-data controls for palarid.com. See Your data for the current limitation on the in-app "clear all" control, which we have documented rather than hidden.
Stop using a feature, or turn off optional processing entirely in Settings. There is no background processing to restrict.
Export produces a plain, open JSON file you can read, keep, or move into another tool. No proprietary format, no lock-in, no export fee.
You can object to any optional processing. In practice this means declining the analytics consent, which you can do or undo at any time in Settings. Refusing does not limit your access to any part of Palarid.
Article 22 gives you the right not to be subject to decisions made purely by automation that significantly affect you. Palarid makes no such decisions. Nothing here scores you, profiles you, or decides anything about you. The calculators and AI features produce suggestions from figures you enter; the judgement stays yours.
If you want to exercise a right in a way the app doesn't already let you, email us. Under UK GDPR we must respond within one calendar month, and it is free. We will not charge you or ask you to justify the request.
Realistically, a request will usually get the answer: "we don't hold that, and here is how to get it from your own browser." That is not an evasion — it is the whole design.
You have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator at any time. You do not have to contact us first, though it is usually quicker if you do.

The ICO also publishes plain-English guidance on your rights at ico.org.uk/for-the-public. If you think we have got something wrong, we would rather hear it — but the regulator is there precisely so you are not dependent on our goodwill.
Under the Data Protection (Charges and Information) Regulations 2018, most UK organisations that process personal data must pay an annual data protection fee and appear on the ICO's register. Some are exempt.
Being straight with you: Palarid's position is genuinely borderline. It holds no personal data on any server, which points towards exemption. But it does collect email addresses for a mailing list, and its host logs IP addresses, which points the other way. This is being checked against the ICO's own self-assessment. If registration is required, it will be obtained and the registration number published here. We would rather tell you the question is open than imply a status we have not confirmed.
Under PECR we only send marketing email to people who have actively asked for it. No pre-ticked boxes, no adding you because you used a tool. Every email carries a working unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. We do not sell, rent or share any address.
Palarid is designed for adults and is not directed at children. It contains general reference material — including first-aid and health tools — intended for adult judgement. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and because nothing is collected on a server, there is no children's data held anywhere for us to hold.
